If a battery fails and a new replacement is required, front terminal batteries are very easy to replace since they are narrow and have terminals in the front. The clips are easily detached from the terminals, then the battery can be slid out and easily replaced with a new battery. On the other hand, if you were replacing a lead-acid battery with the standard design where the terminals are on top, disconnecting the terminals can be challenging as most battery racks are designed with minimal space between each rack to save space.
