Victron Blue Smart IP22 12V Chargers are the newest line of professional chargers. They have built-in Bluetooth to monitor voltage and current, change settings, and update the charger when new. 12V Victron IP22 Chargers have an efficiency of up to 94 % and generate minimal heat when compared to the industry standard. The high efficiency reduces power consumption to 0.5 watts, some five to ten times better than the industry standard. Charge profiles include Bulk, Absorption, Float, and Storage voltages. The chargers are also equipped with a reconditioning setting and a temperature compensation value that can be programmed with the VictronConnect app, which is available for IOS and Android devices. Enabling Expert mode in the app allows you to set specific charge settings to meet the charge requirement of your specific battery. This means that a 12V Victron IP22 charger can charge any battery type, whether lead-acid, lead-carbon, or lithium.
