The Victron Energy Phoenix 12V 500W Inverter is a 500VA 120V AC inverter that is designed for both residential and professional use.
The Phoenix range of inverters is suitable for a wide range of applications. This 12V 500W Inverter can be used with Canbat lead-acid and lithium (LIFEPO4) batteries.

Proven reliability
The full bridge plus toroidal transformer topology has proven its reliability over many years.
The inverters are short circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether due to overload or
high ambient temperature.
High start-up power
Needed to start loads such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or electric tools.
ECO mode
When in ECO mode, the inverter will switch to standby when the load decreases below a preset
value (min load: 15W). Once in standby, the inverter will switch on for a short period (adjustable,
default: every 2,5 seconds). If the load exceeds a preset level, the inverter will remain on.

The Victron Energy Phoenix 12V 500W Inverter is a well built product; can be used for variety of applications. The only problem I have with it is the ECO mode which turns of the inverter if the load is too small, I connected my laptop to it and for some reason it’s not recognized by ECO for having of a small load power. Luckily, you can turn off the ECO mode and pretty much use the remote switch to turn on the inverter.

This Victron Inverter is a little bit expensive but much better than all the other cheap knockoffs out there. If you want something that is secure and reliable, I would recommend you getting this one. I got the Victron Energy Phoenix 12V 500W Inverter for my RV and it is fantastic.

A solid piece of technology, the Victron energy 12V 500W inverter brings out the satisfaction you need when you power up your electronics, small appliances and so much more. Never had any issues with it thus far. Love the ECO mode, truly amazing. Bought this to replace my old one cause I needed one that can run AC loads, plus the input range on this one is between 9.5 – 17V which is pretty amazing.

I would like to add that the Victron Phoenix 12v 500w can be used for audio applications. I have now tested it thoroughly with vintage tube guitar amps, which quickly reveal whether an inverter is a clean true sine wave or not, regardless of the manufacturer’s claim. I am glad to report that the Victron passes the test.
