VE.Direct communication port
The VE.Direct port can be connected to:
• A computer (VE.Direct to USB interface cable needed)
• Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, MacBook’s and other devices
(VE. Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle needed)
Fully configurable
• Low battery voltage alarm trip and reset levels
• Low battery voltage cut-off and restart levels
• Dynamic cut-off: load dependent cut-off level
• Output voltage 210 – 245V
• Frequency 50 Hz or 60 Hz
• ECO mode on/off and ECO mode sense level
Monitoring
• In- and output voltage, % load and alarms
Proven reliability
The full bridge plus toroidal transformer topology has proven its reliability over many years.
The inverters are short circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether due to overload or
high ambient temperature.
High start-up power
Needed to start loads such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or electric tools.
ECO mode
When in ECO mode, the inverter will switch to standby when the load decreases below a preset
value (min load: 15W). Once in standby, the inverter will switch on for a short period (adjustable,
default: every 2,5 seconds). If the load exceeds a preset level, the inverter will remain on.

This inverter is very impressive and was able to handle a higher voltage of 16.8V. It turns on without any issues and I was very pleased with how to was able to handle my loads. most inverters have a cap around 15V but this one was able to handle 10% more. The heaviness of it definitely signalizes that it is a high-quality inverter.

I drive around in my RV a lot and this Inverter is what kept me going. I am using my fans, heaters, electronics and so far haven’t had any issues with it at all. Pretty Good.

The Victron Energy Phoenix 12V 1000W Inverter is pretty good. It handles a lot of power and higher voltage. I was a bit skeptical about it first cause I had bad experiences with inverters before but this one had no problems at all. Good Stuff.

Not bad, not bad at all. The Victron Energy Phoenix 12V 1000W Inverter works really well. The only downside here is that you need like extra cables (VE.Direct to USB interface cable) or (VE. Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle needed) if you gonna connect to your smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC. Overall, I would say it’s worth getting it over other cheap inverters, it’s safe, dependable, it’s got eco mode, and it’s got some alarm settings.

Bought the Victron 12V 1000W inverter to replace my old one in my RV, and it was a huge improvement, worth every penny. Glad I made this choice, it can easily handle 1000watts, the installation was super easy, went on with my other equipments without any issues. Love it.

The best inverter, runs my microwave, coffee maker, soldering gun, TV, fans, heater off my lithium batteries without any problems. This is a solid machine, one that I would consider getting it again in distant future. It’s super efficient, low power consumption, clean power, and it has eco mode which is the feature I like the most.

After purchasing a Phoenix Inverter 12/1200VA 1000W 120V VE.Direct NEMA GFCI, I did load tests and discovered that it wouldn’t operate a 900W electric kettle. The inverter via VE Direct was reporting 1354VA – well above the kettle specifications. Other measurements includes the DC Shunt showing 1032W, and a clamp meter on the inverter AC output showed 7.15Amps which at 120V would be 860W. This indicated to me that the Inverter measurement was wrong and led to an inappropriate overload alarm. With Canbat’s assistance, I was able to return the Inverter to Victron under warranty.
Upon receiving a new replacement Inverter, I re-installed it and behaved in a very similar fashion. I have to believe the fault must be common to Phoenix Inverter 12/1200VA 1000W 120V VE.Direct NEMA GFCI Inverter. I have decided to keep the inverter because the electric kettle was not necessary for me. My actual largest load is only 700W which the inverter can handle.
I have given it only 2*s, since it does not meet its specification of 1000W.
