This Victron 17A charger was recommended to me by Brooklyn from Canbat. My LiFePO4 battery went into protection mode because I fully discharged it and my AGM charger wasn’t able to charge it. This Victron charger was able to wake up the BMS and has been charging my battery wonderfully. Excellent support from Canbat and thanks for the free shipping!

Canbat’s customer service is unbeatable. I called them probably 6 times before buying this charger and I annoyed the heck out of them, but they were always polite and ready to answer any question I had. 5 stars for Canbat for their customer service and fast shipping, but only 4 stars for the charger. It works great for lithium batteries, the Bluetooth app is useful and the price is affordable. The only downside to it is that it heats up very much. The charger becomes too hot and it can actually burn your hand if you touch it. Canbat said it’s normal because the charger is made out of aluminum, which heats up really quick but also cools down very quick once it’s done charging. That’s just how the charger was designed by Victron.

Powerful lithium charger with an awesome Bluetooth app that shows you how the battery is being charged. For some reason, I wasn’t able to find this charger anywhere in Toronto. Ordered it from Canbat and it shipped from Vancouver with free shipping. It only took the charger 3 days to arrive Toronto, which is pretty fast.

I would give this BPC121715106 charger 10 starts if I could. Not only does it have default settings for lithium and lead acid, but the Bluetooth app also allows you to fully customize the charge parameters. This basically means you can charge any 12V battery type.
