Got this 20ah lithium for my dad’s mobility scooter and he’s very happy.

This 20Ah lithium battery has the exact dimensions as the 20Ah lead acid I have in my scooter. Ever since my upgrade to lithium, I have been able to go so far in my scooter before another recharge is required. Very satisfied and highly recommended, especially for those that have long trips in their electric wheelchair or scooter.

I have two of these batteries, but don’t let the size fool you. They have been powering a 300 watt pure sinewave inverter (Giandel) which is running my laptop, two tablets and charging a cell phone. They have been running 38hrs and still have 40% SOC. I am very pleased! Time to charge them with my portable solar panels.

Just had a call with Canbat. They gave me a few options of which batteries to buy. I wanted to buy the 12v 30ah lithium battery or the 12v 40ah lithium battery, but I was on a budget. They told me the 12v 20ah will do the job, so I got that instead for my dad’s gift. The battery indeed works perfectly for the application.

Canbat has great customer service. I had an issue with the lithium battery I bought recently and they told me to bring it back, and they’ll have a look at it. Just a few minutes later they fixed the battery. I was using the wrong charger and the BMS went into protection mode to protect the cells. They somehow activated the battery back and advised me to use a Victron lithium charger. Since then, it’s been working great. Thank you.
Janet K. –
The lithium battery works well. I use the 12v 20ah battery in my trailer to raise and lower my bed. Never been this happy with a battery lol

Just bought a 12v 20ah lithium battery for my fishing trip. The performance of the battery was well expected. Very lightweight battery and small. Did a great job on my equipment.
Wei W. –
Awesome battery. I have it to power up my portable fishing shack lights. The lithium 20ah provides great power, unlike the lead-acid battery which dims the light during discharge. The weight compared to my old SLA battery was noticeable when walking. The performance does not change when the temperatures go below -10.

Purchased four of these 20Ah lithium batteries for the Fisheries and Oceans Canada, and connected them in series for a 48V LiFePO4 system. They are supplying power to both the weather station console (top) and a RaspberryPi microcomputer (left) which downloads data from the console on a 4 day cycle. These four 20Ah batteries have been running autonomously for about 7 months. Love the batteries and Canbat’s excellent customer service. Free shipping, even to remote sites, which is amazing!!

I bought this battery to power a field-charging system for LiPo batteries used in my radio-controlled model airplanes. I needed to add an anti-spark connector (XT90) between the LiFePO4 battery and my LiPo charger because the battery management system in the LiFe battery would shut down whenever I connected the LiPo charger. My guess is that the LiPo charger has some big capacitors in its DC input circuit that the LiFe BMS interpreted as a short circuit or an over-current surge in the first moments of connection, tripping its self-protection function. Once I added the anti-spark connector to the charger input connection, the LiFePO4 battery performed flawlessly as a power source for my field charger.
