The Canbat CLI150-12LT is a 12V 150Ah lithium battery specifically designed for cold temperatures. The Battery features advanced LiFePO4 technology and M8 terminals. It can be charged at temperatures down to -20°C (-4°F). Our advanced temperature control feature draws only 120W of power from the charger and so no additional components are needed for your system.The Canbat CLI150-12LT is a UL certified 12V 150Ah cold weather LiFePO4 battery. This 12V 150Ah lithium battery can be connected in parallel up to 4 units of the same model to create a 12V 300Ah,12V 450Ah, or even 12V 600Ah battery. It Can also be connected in series up to 4 units of the same model to create a 24V 150Ah, 36V 150Ah, or even 48V 150Ah battery.
In cold temperatures, the BMS ( battery management system) disconnects from the cells to protect your battery. Prior to charging, the built-in heating systems draw power from the charger in order to heat up the battery.
The battery is made for use in all deep cycle applications such as off-grid solar, RV, marine, camping, and backup power systems. This 12V 150Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate battery can also be used to replace standard lead-acid batteries in the use of mobility scooters, UPS system, fire alarm systems, access control systems, and medical devices. They are growing in popularity for military and aerospace applications. The CLI150-12LT battery is engineered with lithium cells offering superior performance and higher reliability as they can be used for power storage solutions or as power sources. This cold weather lithium battery is running great for my remote cabin. I had lead-acid batteries before and they were a hassle to maintain. The cabins sit unused for about 6 months and is not accessible for this period but the batteries continue to provide good power output when I use them. We use about 600 watt-hours a day and produce about 345 watts from our array so it’s a small system. If you live in the cold, this is the best battery on the market, you can recharge it in super low temperatures and these guys have incredible customer service and shipping.
