The Canbat Bluetooth Chip Add-on allows you to connect to your battery via Bluetooth to view battery voltage, state of charge, current draw, and other helpful battery information. This Bluetooth chip is embedded into the battery and is available for all of our lithium batteries with capacities of 20Ah or greater; all you need to do to enable it is install our App.
The Canbat Bluetooth App is free to download for iOS and Android.
Bluetooth lithium batteries utilize a built-in Battery Management System (BMS) and Bluetooth communications, in order to enable the user to monitor a Bluetooth lithium battery from a smartphone or tablet. The Canbat lithium Bluetooth app is available in the Apple Store for IOS devices and in Google Play for Android devices. No need to purchase a separate Bluetooth LiFePO4 Battery App. The Canbat lithium Bluetooth app allows you to monitor the state of charge (SOC), voltage (V), capacity (Ah), charge and discharge currents, temperature (°F and °C), cycle life and much more.
The Canbat Bluetooth lithium battery range is built with Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology. This series of lithium batteries is designed in a variety of BCI standard sizes for easy drop-in replacement for sealed lead-acid batteries. The BMS is also responsible for balancing the individual cells within a battery pack to ensure optimal performance in all deep cycle applications. I would have given 5 stars but this technology was built into the 2 50AH 12V batteries I previously purchased and I feel charging $50 per battery just to have someone set permissions on a computer to activate the feature to make it usable on a phone app is extremely overpriced. With the technology already installed in the battery at time of manufacture charging someone an extra $50 per battery to make use of it is poor customer service and poor dollar to value feature on the purchase price.
