Your Order May Arrive in More Than One Package
Lithium batteries may ship separately from chargers, cables and other accessories because carriers apply special transportation requirements to battery shipments. Separate packages may travel through different carrier networks and can have different tracking numbers and delivery dates. Receiving one package does not necessarily mean the rest of your order is missing. Check any additional tracking numbers provided for your order, and allow a few extra business days for the remaining items to arrive before assuming anything is lost.
Tracking FAQ
Where can I find my order number?
Your order number appears in the order-confirmation email sent after checkout. You can also find it under the Orders section of your Canbat account. Please check your spam or junk folder if the confirmation email is not in your inbox.
Why did only part of my order arrive?
Some orders are divided into separate packages. A lithium battery and charger, for example, may travel through different shipping networks and arrive on different days. Receiving one package does not necessarily mean the remaining item has been lost. Check any additional tracking numbers provided for your order, and allow a few extra business days for the remaining items to arrive before assuming anything is lost.
Will each package have its own tracking number?
Separate packages may receive separate tracking numbers, while items that ship together in the same box share a single tracking number, so seeing fewer tracking numbers than items is normal. Additional tracking information may appear after another item from your order has been prepared and shipped. Please review every tracking number shown for your order.
Why is my battery being shipped by ground?
Lithium batteries and spillable flooded lead-acid batteries are subject to strict air-transport regulations, so they ship by ground service. Sealed AGM batteries are classified as non-spillable and are not restricted from air transport, though ground remains our standard shipping method for batteries. Chargers and other non-regulated accessories may travel separately, which can result in different tracking numbers and delivery dates.
When should my tracking information become available?
Your tracking number becomes available as soon as our warehouse prepares your order and creates the shipping label. The number may not show any movement, however, until the carrier completes its first physical scan, after which each subsequent scan adds more detail. Orders placed before 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time on a business day normally ship the same day, while orders placed after the cut-off normally ship the next business day. Large pallet orders may require an additional one to two business days for preparation.
Why has my tracking number not updated?
A tracking number may not show movement until the carrier completes its first physical scan. A tracking number that shows no movement does not necessarily mean your order is still at our warehouse, as some carriers do not scan at pickup and only record a shipment once it reaches their first facility. Updates can also pause while a package travels between facilities or because of weekends, holidays, weather or carrier operating delays.
Tracking says delivered, but part of my order is missing. What should I do?
First, check whether the delivered status applies to only one package. Review every available tracking number, check around the delivery location and ask whether someone else at the address accepted the package. Contact Canbat if every listed package shows delivered and an item is still missing.
How long should delivery take?
Delivery estimates are measured in business days and exclude weekends and holidays. Most orders in Western Canada arrive within approximately one to three business days, while orders in Eastern Canada generally require four to seven business days. Remote and rural destinations may require additional transit time.
Delivery dates are estimates and can vary by destination, carrier, order size and package type.
Can I change my delivery address after the package ships?
Once a carrier has accepted a shipment, an address change may no longer be possible. Contact Canbat as soon as you notice an address problem. We will review the available options, but a redirect cannot be guaranteed after shipment.
Will I be charged duties or brokerage fees on a US delivery?
Canbat covers applicable import duties and brokerage fees on standard US orders, so customers should not receive surprise duty or brokerage charges at delivery. Exceptions may apply to palletized business orders.
